On 14th July, Team Secret will compete for supremacy against Tricked Esports in one of the playoff matches of the ESEA Season 34: Advanced Division – Europe. The series will be played in a best-of-three format, and in this article, we will work out the winner between the two teams.

Team Secret

Secret had their fair share of troubles in the past few months. In January, the side had to drop Rigon “rigoN” Gashi from the first team and found his replacement Martin “PERCY” Wessel in April. More changes were made to the roster as Danni “smF” Dyg, Flatron “juanflatroo” Halimi and Filip “tudsoN” Tudev left the side.

At the start of July Secret, only had four players in the first team. But despite these player changes, Team Secret finished at first place at the ESEA S34 regular season. They played 16 games and lost only three. They replicated this form in the early stages of the playoffs and defeated sAw, LDLC, and Tikitaken.

The highest rating in the competition so far is achieved by Secret’s Guy “anarkez” Trachtman with a 1.27 average followed by Haakon “Ratification” Tholo, and Dionis “sinnopsyy” Budeci and smF, as they hold a collective average of 1.07 rating. The only member that fails to cross the 1.00 mark in the in-game leader PERCY, but that is nothing to be concerned about as he is the shots caller of the team.

Tricked Esports

The mighty Secret will be facing Tricked Esports, who have displayed decent results throughout ESEA Season 34. They are tied for the second spot with five other teams with twelve wins from the sixteen games played. They also had little to no problems in the playoffs as they beat Ambush Esports, Sengal Esports, and CR4ZY. Tricked assembled its entire team in January after signing Nicolai “torben” Amorim, Magnus “Toft” Toft, Philip “Lucky” Ewald, Oliver “kwezz” Rasmussen and Andreas “kiR” Kirstein.

In over six months, only one change has been made to the team. Since in May, they acquired Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen and removed torben from the team. Despite, this recent change, Tricked continues to wreak havoc in the competitive landscape. The average rating of the entire roster is 1.2 while Toft and kwezz, producing solid performances.

Prediction: Team Secret 2-1 Tricked Esports

Both teams are brilliant and are in hot form at the moment as they made their way to the knockout round. But we believe that Tricked Esport is better as they host a much stronger roster and more consistent roster.

As long as Toft and kwezz continue to play at the top of their game. There will be no stopping Tricked from lifting their first trophy since their win in the European qualifiers of the DreamHack Open Winter 2019. The game will be full of entertainment as both sides will be hungry for the win. Now only time will tell which of the two will come out on top.
